Gymnasts selected to join this competitive program will develop the skills necessary to compete at a provincial level. Entry into competition occurs when a minimum skill level is acquired and the athlete is deemed ready by the head coach. We accommodate athletes in Canadian Competitive Programs Levels 1-7 and Xcel Programs Bronze through Diamond. This program runs 4-9 hours per week split between a minimum of 2 days.

Participants will train primarily on Vault, Beam, Bars and Floor as these are the events that they would compete on when asked to attend competitions. Other events/equipment may be used to help support their training and skill development.
Gymnasts may also be steered into the Recreation Program depending on what the coaches decided is best suited for each individual child. Performance opportunities are not guaranteed and registration should be based on the desire to train to gain confidence, gymnastics skills, strength, flexibility, and the life skills that are learned along the way.

TRYOUTS will be held in Spring. You can register by age (Free of Charge) under the view offerings tab of the Cochrane Tryouts for 10 month Programs (LTAD) once made available after you have attended a Parent Information Night (Requirement to register for tryouts).
