The 2025-26 tryout season (Sept-June)Our tryout process begins with a parent information night (+ Program Developmental Parent Meeting), which is a prerequisite for parents/legal guardians to attend prior to having their child come to tryout. We do this to ensure that those who sign up for tryouts have an understanding in advance of the program and expectations in order to make an informed decision when accepting an invitation to the team. ONLY truly interested children who wish to train in one of our Developmental Programs should do the try out.Regardless of the outcome of tryouts, being a part of a gymnastics program is extremely beneficial as the sport of gymnastics is the foundational sport. There can be a number of reasons why a child is accepted or not accepted into the program and sometimes it can all come down to simply the timing in a child's life. It is important for families to remain supportive to their children through the process and be proud of them for all of their accomplishments. Being assessed in anyway can cause some level of anxiety. We will do our best to make sure the tryout is a positive experience. One way families can support their child is by planning ahead for the tryout by preparing and reading through all of our information as well as informing the child of what to expect.
