Intramurals Summer Open Basketball

Summer Registration Opens April 1, 2025.
Registration & Playing Request Deadline June 23, 4:00pm
League Play Commences July 2.
Monday League Max. 12 Teams / 7 Games scheduled
Wednesday League Max. 12 teams / 8 Games scheduled

Playing format: 4-10min stop time quarters, within 1.5hr time slot. Games are 6:30pm & 8:00pm starts. Teams are open status, meaning there is no gender minimums required.

All Classic leagues have officials, standings & playoffs.

All division descriptions are a base guideline.
A Division – Players would have intermediate to advanced skills and a firm knowledge of the rules. They would have played competitively in high school, club level or with city leagues.
B Division – Players would have intermediate skills and knowledge of the rules. They would have played in Jr. or Sr. high school or with city leagues.
C Division - Players would have basic skills and knowledge of the rules. They would have played in Jr. high school or Sr. High.
D Division - Players are relatively new to the sport and have basic skills and knowledge of the rules. Emphasis is on fun over competition.
Open Division - Players of various skill levele, no gender requirments.

All teams are required to provide their own set of jersyes. (Competitive Leagues) prefered with numbers, this can be a set of pinnies, set of same colour shirts, or jerseys.

*Must be 18 years of age or older and/or a current UCalgary student enrolled in spring/summer courses.*
