In Person Vet Camp

Get ready to unleash your inner veterinary medical professional this summer! Discover how animals are cared for at our in person Vet Camp this summer! This hands-on camp encourages kids to engage in a variety of concepts, activities and challenges around animal health. Campers will be introduced to many aspects of the animal world- from pocket pets to livestock and wildlife, and even how our own human interactions impact animal health and wellbeing! Explore how animals are different from humans, practice some critter First Aid, and learn about a variety of careers in animal medicine. Meet some of our current Veterinary Medicine students and veterinarians who are busy planning new and exciting activities, while bringing back some favourite, well-known sessions that we're positive every camper will love! Each day is balanced with a variety of outdoor games & activities led by our camp leaders. One highlight of the week is going on a day trip to the only Vet School in Alberta: UCVM’s Spy Hill Campus Clinical Skills Building.
