T&T Rockets Ages 6-7 (Coed) [Calgary]

The Trampoline and Tumbling (T&T) coed program primarily focus on Trampoline, Tumble Track, Floor, and other specialized equipment. The T&T program will work primarily within steps 1-8 of the ladder program, which covers safety landings on all apparatus in the program, assesses the strength and flexibility of the gymnast, and teaches proper body alignment. The focus will be on providing a strong foundation on basic gymnastic skills in a fun and creative way, from which more advanced skills will follow. Coaches will assess which step of the Ladder Program is applicable for all events themselves by assessing the strength, flexibility, skills, and mental readiness of each individual gymnast.

Age exceptions are not available in this age group. Gymnasts registering in these classes must be a minimum of 6 years old by the first day of programming as the class structure will align with the anticipated emergence of both the physical and mental development of children in this age group.
