Cosmic Flip

Cosmic Flip is a non-competitive, Recreational fun meet that gives Recreational gymnasts an opportunity to show off the skills that they have been working on during the fall and winter sessions.

This event is open to all Gymnasts registered in the Winter 2026 Recreation session. Artistic Gymnastics Program athletes who are 6 years and up, Trampoline and Tumbling athletes who are 8 years and up and Parkour athletes who are 8 and up are eligible to participate. As this event is intended to promote a positive experience for the gymnast, athletes in our preschool programs are not included given their young age.

All gymnastic disciplines offered at UCalgary Gymnastics will able to participate at Cosmic Flip. Gymnasts are asked to register based on the program in which they are currently registered. 

Artistic Gymnasts will perform on the Vault, Bars, Beam, & Floor

Trampoline & Tumbling will perform on Trampoline, Tumbling (on Floor), DMT and Tumble Track. 

Parkour Athletes will perform flows on Floor, Vault, Strength and Tumble Track.
