Landscape Lab | Grades 2-4 
Looking to explore the world of landscape design? Join us at Landscape Lab! Led by creative students from the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, campers will explore the relationship between natural spaces and human society, discover the impact of sustainable design choices, and reimagine urban landscapes with a natural twist. They’ll spend time exploring the intentional landscaping around the University’s new downtown building, and experiment with natural materials and model-making materials to represent their ideas. With design projects like community parks and public spaces, campers are invited to collaborate, innovate and unleash their creativity while tackling real world challenges and designing a green future!  

Landscape Lab | Grades 5-10 
Passionate about creating unique and welcoming spaces that integrate elements of the natural world with human design? Come check out Landscape Lab at the University’s new downtown building! With projects created and led by students from the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, campers will get hands-on experience and insight about the field of landscape design and its potential to shape our parks and public spaces. Exploring natural materials and the impact they have on ecosystems or designing nature-inspired solutions to issues of urbanization, campers will learn how to demonstrate their design ideas by using their own models and drawings to represent the landscape scale. Campers will work collaboratively to explore lessons learned from natural landscapes, discover the important role and potential of landscape design for human society, and channel their creativity to imagine a sustainable and green world!
