Entering Grades 5 - 7

Calling all Aspiring architects and urban visionaries to join Future Design Studio, a creative journey where you will innovate the future of city spaces in our world. Led by the innovative students of the School of Architecture, Planning, and Landscape, this design camp is a unique opportunity for campers to uncover new skills and bring their visions to life. Campers will explore a variety of design techniques and planning methods, delving into materials, scales, and representations. From producing images to crafting models, they will learn how to express their ideas effectively. The University of Calgary's evolving campus and award-winning green buildings will serve as a full-scale laboratory, providing inspiration and opportunities to explore, observe, and design beautiful buildings, landscapes, and future scenarios for urban spaces. Building on shared interests in design and local community making, we explore new ways to co-create. Get out your creativity caps and join us for a week of fun in our design studio imagining the future!
