Intramurals Mixed Competitive Volleyball

Thursday League: January 18 4:00pm
League Play Commences January 21, 23.
Max. 20 teams for each league

Tuesday League has officials, standings, playoffs 9 double headers 6 seeding round & 12 regular season games.
Thursday League has standings, playoffs and is self officiated 7 double headers, 4 seeding round and 10 regular season games. 

Intramural Sports offers volleyball players a wide selection of leagues, tiered to allow you to select the type of competition you want.  These leagues includes standings and playoffs. Mixed Teams are required to always have at least 2 players of the opposite gender on the court.  Teams will be allowed to dress 12 players on the game sheets. 

Teams will register in either the Tuesday, Thursday leagues, fall, winter.  Tuesday/Thursdays will be A/B/C skill levels. 
Summer league is Tuesdays and has all skill levels. 

All division descriptions are a base guideline.
A Division – Players would have intermediate to advanced skills and a firm knowledge of the rules. They would have played competitively in high school, club level or with city leagues.

B Division – Players would have intermediate skills and knowledge of the rules. They would have played in Jr. or Sr. high school or with city leagues.

C Division - Players would have basic skills and knowledge of the rules.  They would have played in Jr. high school or Sr. High.

D Division - Players are relatively new to the sport and have basic skills and knowledge of the rules. Emphasis is on fun over competition.

*All participants must be 18 years of age or a UCalgary student.*
