Super Stars 2:6 Group Coaching - Adaptive Gymnastics [Calgary]

***NEW INFORMATION***

PLEASE READ -
We're here to support you and your child's participation fully. You can help our efforts by reading the following in its entirety.

Open only to children ages 6+ requiring a low ratio adaptive program. Children will participate in our circuit-based preschool and recreational programs in an environment that is conducive to their learning and development. Each group will consist of a small group of coaches and athletes, allowing the space and time for coaches to make adaptations and personalized modifications to our circuits to meet each child where they are at and assist them in working towards their own personal best as a gymnast.

All participants must be able to engage independently without 1:1 support, as the class will operate in a group setting.  Participants must have the ability to wait in one location with their classmates as their coach demonstrates circuits.

To support all our participants to the best of our abilities, we kindly request that you inform us prior to registration of any additional supports, or accommodations required by your child. This programs is staffed to support a 2:6 ratio, we are unable to provide 1:1 support during this time slot. Children requiring 1:1 support are asked to join our 1:1 adaptive program.

New to the program? In order to meet the unique needs of each participant, we ask each new member to complete an intake form so we can learn how to best coach your participant. We will be in touch prior to the program to assist with this process.

Super Stars Drop-in - Adaptive Gymnastics [Calgary]

Only open to children with disabilities, these drop-in times are designed with low ratios, allowing children with disabilities and their grown-up/helper access to come and explore the Gymnastics Centre.

Please note, this is not a structured class. Each participant is required to provide their own 1:1 support to attend.

Participants are invited to come and discover our environment in an unstructured way. This time allows each participant the space and flexibility to use the equipment and space to aid in their learning, experiences, and development.

A member of our coaching team will be present and available to offer ideas, adaptions and access to additional equipment, supporting the participants needs and goals.

One adult is required to actively participate at all times to assist the participant during drop-in. Additional unregistered children, including those in car seats, carriers, strollers, baby-wearing devices or independent, may not be brought into the gymnastics centre during this time and can not be left unsupervised outside the gym.
