Girl Powered Robotics
Western Mechatronics, Schulich School of Engineering and Google are proud to present the The Second Annual Girl Powered Workshop in Alberta. In this workshop, students will work in teams of 3 - 5 to design, build, and program a robot to compete with other teams in complex engineering challenges, like VEX Spin Up.
The Schulich Community Robotics Program
The Schulich Community Robotics Program (SCRP) is managed by Minds in Motion and the University of Calgary Robotics Association (UCRA). We coach FIRST Lego League (FLL) teams, mentor an all-girls FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team, deliver low-cost robotics and programming workshops for kids 5-17 years old, and are active in the local robotics community. All of our programs and events are 100% designed, planned, and delivered by volunteers thanks to the fantastic in-kind support from our amazing partners!
