Entering Grades 4 - 9

From investigating atoms  to exploring galaxies and experimenting with forces, this camp will have you discovering the wonders of Physics! This action-packed week will delve into astronomy, mechanics, electricity, and magnetism with exciting hands-on experiments and challenges. Campers will get the chance to work out of and see demonstrations in the University of Calgary's physics labs. Our future physicists will get a chance to visit the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory and learn about the world above.  Put on your best Tesla or Curie costume and come join us this summer at Physics 101!

Campers will have the thrilling opportunity to observe live demonstrations, learn from experts in the fields of physics and astrophysics.   Take a trip to and explore the wonders of the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory, where the University of Calgary trains the next generation of astrophysicists. From aviation to outer space, this camp will take you on a hands-on, interactive journey through captivating experiments and challenges. Get ready to say, "3, 2, 1, blast off!" as we launch into a week of sky science adventure!
