Mini University Birthday Parties!
Please note that we are not able to offer Birthday Parties in July and August because our summer camp programs are running at that time.
Mini University is excited to offer your family two unforgettable birthday parties! Parties are hosted in Kinesiology on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 2:30-4:30 p.m. Each party is 2 hours long: 90 minutes will be for activities and 30 minutes will be provided for food, cake and presents. You can bring your own food and please bring a cooler if you would like to keep food cold. Activities and food will take place in the same room (except gym games). We recommend you book your party 6-8 weeks in advance and we will be in contact within 5 business days.
Here are the new changes that we have implemented this year:
- Hand sanitizer will be provided to all participants.
- Everyone should please bring their own mask with them.
- Party guests will be dropped off and picked up at a designated parking point. Their parents are not able to stay at the party this year unfortunately.
- Only parents of the birthday child will receive a parking pass.
- All party guests will be asked a series of screening questions before they are able to attend.
Choose from two party themes:
LEGO® Builders
This party features fun solo and group building challenges in our multi-purpose studio. Activities will be tailored to your child’s interests and facilitated by two of our experienced instructors. Some options include seeing who can build the tallest tower or the strongest bridge, building a name wall, recreating your favourite food or animal and/or making a marble maze run.
Gym Games
This party features playing sports & games together in one of the gyms on campus. Activities will be tailored to your child’s interests and facilitated by two of our experienced instructors. Some options include dodgeball, parachute games, archery, capture the flag, kickball, relay races, floor hockey and soccer. (Limited availability)
The cost for the party is $225 and includes:
- Adult Supervision and facilitation by our two Birthday Party Hosts so parents have the option to leave and come back
- Generic decorations our staff set up 90 minutes before the party begins. You can bring additional decorations 15 minutes before the party starts.
- A parking pass for you for the length of the party that you will receive by email when you register along with a map showing how to get to the party location.
- For an additional $25 we can provide disposable food ware including plates, cutlery, cups and tablecloths. Please indicate this on the Birthday Party Request Form.

Birthday Party Information
Celebrate your birthday by swinging, jumping, tumbling and playing with your friends in a fun & safe environment. Your birthday package, which is 2 hours, includes one hour of time in the gym; where after rules and safety guidelines have been covered you have the option to have free time, structured play or circuits which will be lead by the coaches. The final hour is time for families to enjoy food/cake and/or present opening in the designated party table area. To ensure safety and all operations, we are unable to extend your gym time. There will be 2 trained instructors onsite to help facilitate the birthday parties, as they will be engaging with the participants and their families, as well as completing administrative and cleaning duties to help ensure the success of each birthday party. Our staff will be happy to wash tables and clean the floors at the end of the party time, however we ask that you place all garbage in the receptacles provided. Be advised; we allow up to 15 participants as that is how many seats are available at the Birthday Party table and there is limited standing area, we encourage you to limit the number of adult guests as there is limited seating room. Parents who are accompanying children under the age of 4, as they are required to be within arms reach, are included in the total number of attendees.
We do not have a refrigerator or freezer available, so plan to bring a cooler if you need to keep food cool.
HELPFUL HINTS AND GYM EDICATE
*Informed Consents are required for all participants, which must be printed in color, double sided and signed by a parent/legal guardian.
*Upon arrival, please be sure that parents and children remove all outdoor footwear before entering the facility
*Children under the age of 4 require a parent within arms reach of them during the gym time to help them get the most fun out of the activities in a fun, safe environment.
*Coat racks are available for belongings.
*Children with special needs require a 1:1 ratio for safety reasons.
*Children are asked to patiently wait along the edge of the gym floor for the coaches to commence the party.
*Bathroom/water breaks need to be parent supervised.
**Please be respectful of the time of your booking as some parties overlap, as well as coaches have other duties that they need to perform to ensure the success of all bookings.
*The Coaches will review all rules and safety at the beginning of the birthday, prior to going on the equipment. If you are unsure about how equipment is used or who is allowed on what, please ask a coach before trying it (this includes all participants and parents).
2 Hour Booking, with 1 hour on the gymnastics equipment and 1 hour at the birthday party tables.
